If you would like to come to the Lahnquelle with your bike or walking shoes and / or dog to start your tour directly at the source, you can be driven by taxi from Feudingen. You can download a list of local providers here.

The Lahnquelle is rather remote, so it is not directly served by local public transport. Naturally, both the Lahn Cycle Path and the Lahnwanderweg Trail start at the Lahnquelle and take you through the Lahn valley to where the Lahn flows into the Rhine at Lahnstein. From Feudingen to Niederlahnstein you can comfortably use the train just in case.

Travelling by bus and train in the Lahn Valley - you can find a summary here.

All timetable information and current information on train services can be found at www.bahn.de.
