With a mixture of imaginative productions and high tech, extraordinary insights into the wilderness of the Kellerwald are possible in the National Park Center, which otherwise remain hidden from us humans.
And all this regardless of the weather.
A new unique 4D sensory film is running in the film room: "Hidden Worlds - Rustic Forest" - 15 minutes.
In the National Park Center there is also the guest room with a large outdoor terrace where you can stop off.
Outside there is a small adventure playground and an amphitheater.

The National Park Center will be closed for maintenance work from January 9th to January 27th, 2023.
During this time, the Guest Room will be open on Saturdays and Sundays.

Public transport
You can travel here by bus and train. Nearby, approx. 1 km, is the national park train station, from there you can travel in all directions.By train in the direction of Korbach, Willingen, Kassel, Frankenberg, Marburg, Erndtebrück, etc.
Buses drive around the Edersee, but bicycle transport is limited here.
Getting there
The National Park Center is located directly on the Eder Cycle Path near Vöhl-Herzhausen and just before the Edersee. So you can arrive directly by bike.If you want to travel by train, get off at the national park train station and cycle about 500 m to the national park center.
