All areas relevant for testing meet the quality criteria of the label "Accessibility certified - partially accessible for people with walking disabilities".

Some information on accessibility are listed below. For detailed information please see the evaluation report.

• There is one marked parking space for people with disabilities (parking space size: 350 cm x 500 cm).
• The path from the car park to the entrance tot he treetop path is 750 m long (squirrels path). It is easy to walk and drive on and has a maximum longitudinal gradient of 12 % over a distance of 10 m.
• The entrace an the treetop path is steplessly accessible.
• All evaluated passageways/doors available to the guests are at least 90 cm wide.
• The cash desk is at its lowest point 90 cm high.
• There is seating available.
• Offered aids: wheelchair.

Public toilet for people with disabilities (Women)

• The manoeuvring spaces are:
  in front of the toilet 140 cm x 140 cm;
  in front of the washbasin 100 cm x 100 cm;
  left of the toilet 80 cm x 70 cm, no manoeuvring space on the right.
• There are grab rails available on the right and left of the toilet. The grab rails can be flipped-up.
• The sink is wheelchair compatible.
• The mirror can be seen while standing or sitting.
• An alarm trigger is not available.

Squirrel path

• The path is signposted throughout, 300 cm wide, has a low vibration surface and is easy to walk on and drive over. It is a water-bound blanket. There is a seating area.
• There are several slight slopes (gradients and inclines); in the first half of the squirrel trail there are short slopes with 8 % (on 20 m) up to 12 % (on 10 m). In the second half there are also short inclinations with up to 8 % (at 30 m) and 9 % (at 10 m).
• The stations at the squirrels path are predominately visible when seated.
• The information on the stations is predominately readable when seated.

TreeTopTrail

• The entrance door to the TreeTopTrail can be opened with the ticket (door width of at least 90 cm).
• Paths on the treetop path are at least 160 cm wide and in most cases easy to walk on and drive on and have a maximum longitudinal gradient of up to 7 %.
• On the treetop trail (TreeTopTrail) there are numerous adventure stations or objects (also touch and smell stations), usually attached to or in the railing. The objects are accessible , have sufficient manoeuvring space and are visible, perceptible and recognizable when sitting and standing.

• There is no audio induction loop system at the counter.
