Inside the chapel is a Baroque altar from 1736. The hermit’s cell is one of the oldest half-timbered buildings in the Siegerland. A little off the path is the approximately 16 m high Förderturm typical for Siegerland with a shaft building. From there, pass the day care center and then go straight into the forest. Behind the transmitter mast, we stay left to reach the country road between Obersdorf-Rödgen and Niederdielfen. At the steep curve above Niederdielfen, we turn left and continue to follow the signs towards Pfaffenrain, which leads us along above the town development. Shortly before the end of our hike, a detour to the Förderturm is possible - the path is signposted. Alternatively, we follow the Jakobsweg and return to our starting point at the Eremitage.
