The cross-country skiing center "Pastorenwiese" is located halfway between Wunderthausen and Hallenberg at an altitude of 700 meters amidst the forested natural landscapes of Sauerland, Rothaargebirge, and Wittgensteiner Land.

The intermediate Hasselrücken route starts at the Pastorenwiese ski hut and leads northwards in a loop around the eponymous elevation. It covers height lengths around 700 meters.

The Hasselrücken route is part of the Nordic Sport Arena Sauerland.
