We enjoy the wonderful view before continuing on gently ascending forest paths towards the **Kronprinz Oak**. There we cross the road and walk along a medieval trade route to the **Ginsburg** (583 m above sea level). Here the restored observation tower offers a wonderful view of Hilchenbach and the coffee lounge in the adjacent castle kitchen invites you to take a short break. Those who crave a more substantial meal can also plan a short detour to the Ginsberger Heide restaurant with its adjoining raised bog. From the Ginsburg we then hike back downhill past the **Zollposten Station** (usually also a place to eat on weekends) along the Kromberg to the lovely Insbach Valley. From here we have another beautiful view of the village of Grund before slowly descending. At the bottom of the valley awaits a **water treading basin** where our feet can find a refreshing cool down. It is now not far to the starting point at Grund. Alternatively, we can also start the circular route at the Vormwald Station (train station).
