The cross-country ski trails lead through the forests on the edge of the Rothaarsteig and run along the Birkenhecke in the area of the watershed between the Lahn and Eder valleys. The different difficulty levels are signposted. In summer, the same routes are used for hiking, jogging, and Nordic walking.
All trails are prepared for both classic and skating technique. Please check our current trail status on the SCR homepage www.scr-ski.de.

Directions
The Fox Caves trail initially leads from the parking lot at the ski hut via the upper Schanzenweg towards Eichwald, but then turns right upwards shortly before the natural ski jump. It then passes by the Fox Heights and goes to the Oberndorfer Delle. From there, you take the lower forest path back to the ski hut. Simply follow the red signs (red arrow with a 4)!
