Here children play to their hearts' content, try out natural materials, build and construct in the middle of nature.

There is, among other things, a "children's hut" on the near-natural adventure playground directly next to the "Wisent Hut" and the entrance area to the "Wisent Wilderness on the Rothaarsteig". And many other attractions for children: there they can play to their heart's content, try out natural materials for building and play in mud and sand.

The adventure playground is regularly expanded and further developed. For example, a climbing tower and a willow labyrinth have been added.

The adventure playground " Little Bison" is still outside the "Bison Wilderness". Its use is free of charge. Parents have a good view of their children from the neighbouring "Wisent-Hütte".

Tip: Don't forget rubber boots and change of clothes!

Directions & Parking facilities

Anreise
By car, from Bad Berleburg follow the signs to the "Wisent Wildnis" in the direction of Wingeshausen. Via the "Alte Landstraße" turn left in the centre of the village onto the Weidingerweg and follow the road for about 3 km until you reach the Wisenthütte/Wisent-Wilderness.

Coming from Siegen, drive via Erndtebrück and follow the L720 and then the L535 towards Wingeshausen (signposted "Wisent Wildnis").
Coming from Schmallenberg, take the B263 to Fleckenberg and follow Jagdhauser Str. to Jagdhaus in the centre of the village and stay on this road, which will lead you to the Wisent Hut (approx. 2 km / signposted Wisent Wildnis).

Parken
You will find enough parking space at the Wisent Wildnis.
