We start at the P+R car park and follow the "Krummen Birke" southwards past the Waldhotel until we reach the Alte Eisenstraße. We turn left and walk about 100m along the Alte Eisenstraße until a forest path opens to the left. The path takes us past the A45 along Groß Glaesner, which at 415m high offers a great view over the villages. After about 2 km, we reach the Lindenbergstraße, which we cross, and a few steps further to the right turn onto the gravel path. On this fairly level section of the hiking trail, we have a good view of the quaint village Zeitenbach and Oberheuslingen until we veer half-left into the forest and at the end of the path reach the village of Niederheuslingen, where we again keep left at the street and follow Landenbergstraße straight ahead to Heuslingstraße. Here we turn right; after 200m we turn left across the street Zum Rohland up the hill. Once at the top, we are rewarded with a wonderful view of Kindelsberg. Those who wish can continue to follow the gravel path straight ahead; those looking for a bit more variety turn left instead until a natural path opens on the right, which we follow until it joins the gravel path again after about 500m. We continue hiking uphill, keeping right at the junction and reach the Sportplatz Oberheuslingen. Here is a shelter where we can take a moment to rest and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Refreshed, we follow the street Zum Steinbruch downhill, at the next opportunity turn left onto the natural path until we meet the Rimbergswald, where we also turn left and after a small bend around the buildings come onto Rimbergstraße. Going down the Rimberg with its similarly named streets, we turn left again at Heuslingstraße and reach K20. On the right, we see the old Backeshaus of Oberheuslingen. We carefully cross K20, follow Im Grund straight ahead until we can turn left onto Zur Häsel, which after about 200m becomes a gravel path. Passing Schwänzeweiher and Dreschschuppen, this path leads us to the cemetery; here we turn right onto Häuslinger Hang to the T-junction, where we follow the path left into the forest and soon reach the Bottenberger Bolzplatz. After enjoying the beautiful view for a while, we walk past the sports field below, turn right and then immediately left and follow the path in a long right-hand curve until after half a kilometer we turn sharply left and follow the gravel path around the hill to the right. At the next junction, right again past a horse farm, then we keep left and after another 500m we come back to the Alte Eisenstraße and our starting point.
