This walking tour takes you to the main sights of Freudenberg's old town, the Protestant church, and of course to the spa park with its magnificent photo view of the half-timbered ensemble.
It is recommended to start the discovery tour at the Tourist Information (Kölner Str. 1) and follow the route, but of course, you can also explore the place on your own.

Directions
We start our walk at the Tourist Information and head towards the old town. We reach Oranienstraße via Poststraße; after a few meters uphill, we turn right again into Mittelstraße. Here you will also find the 4FACHWERK Museum, which presents different exhibitions on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 2 to 5 pm. Through a narrow alley, we continue up to Marktstraße, then turn left back onto Oranienstraße. Those who have a bit more time can calmly explore other corners of the "Alten Flecken" until we leave the half-timbered ensemble past the old town hotel and make our way towards the church with its baroque dome. We walk past the castle and follow the path behind the Schlossberg. After this detour, we return to Krottorfer Straße, cross it, and dive back into the old town until we arrive back at the Tourist Information.
We turn left onto the street leading to the spa park/Seelbach corner and walk uphill at the foot of the spa park until, at the next intersection, we turn sharply right onto a pedestrian path that takes us directly into the spa park. We go around the spa park and finally reach, on the opposite side, probably Freudenberg's most famous spot, the well-known photo viewpoint. While enjoying coffee and cake at Café Kaktus, we take in the wonderful view of the roofs of the half-timbered town for a while, then we descend via the stairs and return to the starting point.
