Directions
The path starts at the parking lot of the ski slope "Hesselbacher Gletscher." From here, walk a short distance to the bus stop at the mill (main road towards Fischelbach) to cross the main road. From here, the paths H3 and H4 are signposted and lead past an old bench into the forest as a footpath. The circular hiking trails H3 and H4 initially run parallel. Below the summit, the paths split. There, you can also make a worthwhile detour to the Wallburg; at the fork, simply head to the top of the Burgberg.
From the fork, trail H3 leads back to the starting point, while the circular trail H4 breaks right and continues around the Jagdberg. After a while, it again breaks right and runs together with a side path of the Rothaarsteig back to the starting point.
