Welcome to the Hilchenbacher Windwanderweg!

Landscape tourism and modern wind energy usage go hand in hand in Hilchenbach. Together with the town of Hilchenbach, RothaarWind GmbH has created the "Hilchenbacher Windwanderweg." Because technology fascinates people—and many residents wonder what an environmentally friendly, climate-neutral energy supply for the future could look like.

You can find an answer on the Hilchenbacher Windwanderweg.

Learn more about this project while enjoying the beautiful Rothaar Mountains landscape. Even without a guided tour, you will be extensively informed, because each installation features a display board explaining how the natural power of "wind" is used with the latest technology—for the benefit of the region and the environment. Each information board includes a "children's corner" where questions about "wind" are answered in a child-friendly manner.

We wish you much fun exploring the Windwanderweg.
