We start at the “Old Deuz Station”. After just 7 km, we are already at the Hainchen moated castle, which invites you to take a walk with its 33 sqm large park. Then the road climbs over 4 km about 200 meters in elevation up to the Haincher Höhe. After one last glance back into the Johannland, we head east-southeast to Ewersbach. From there we turn right through the picturesque Roßbachtal via Dillbrecht to Haiger and then up the mountain to Breitscheid. We ride through Rabenscheid and Rehe, passing the two highest mountains of the Westerwald, the Fuchskaute and the Stegskopf. Shortly before Siegerland Airport, we reach the highest point of the route at 625 m. Only 400 m further, we are already back in NRW. We turn left towards Burbach and from there, it goes wild up and down over small streets through the villages back to the Old Deuz Station.
