- Start: Berleburg Castle
- Destination: Berleburg Castle
We start at the castle in Bad Berleburg via L 553 towards Kirchhundem. A wide, well-paved road leads steadily uphill to the Rhein-Weser Tower, which offers a fantastic view. At 678 m, this is the highest point of our route. Then it goes about 5 km downhill into the valley through seven hairpin bends. We pass Hilchenbach, ride via Lützel and Herzhausen to Kreuztal. Our next stop is Oberholzklau, before making a short detour to the old town of Siegen - meal break. Via Nieder- and Oberdielfen, we reach Wilnsdorf and continue via Kalteiche to Haiger. Then we turn northeast and ride through the picturesque Roßbachtal. From Ewersbach, we turn left to Hainchen and dive deep into the forest of Lahnkopf. Through the Lahn valley it goes to Bad Laasphe and then via Puderbach, Richstein, Beddelhausen, and Schwarzenau to return to Bad Berleburg through the Wittgenstein region.
