This route takes you once around Herzhausen. The starting point of the hike is the triangular area with a picnic island at the corner of Hilchenbacher Straße/Dirlenbacher Weg. Along the way, you hike through a varied landscape with streams, flower meadows, mixed forests, cattle and horse pastures, and a large fallow deer enclosure. Numerous benches, resting recliners, and picnic islands invite you to take a break. At some points, signs with old field and house names line the path. The Herzhausen Panorama Route is consistently marked with an encircled H.

Directions
From the starting point, we turn left into Jägerstraße after 300 m. At the end, this turns into a farm road leading us into the forest. We follow the path for 1 km until it ends in front of a cattle pasture. We now take the small path on the right and cross a small bridge. We hike through meadows and meet a gravel path after 100 m. Here we keep left and walk parallel to the fallow deer enclosure. At the next fork, we turn right and shortly after turn right again. The path leads us above the fallow deer enclosure down to Herzhausen. After 800 m, we reach a viewpoint with a reclining bench.
We reach a paved road and turn left immediately at the housing. A gentle climb lies ahead of us. We follow the road to the end and turn right onto the farm road, which winds gently uphill. At the top, we look over meadows, with the residential area on the right. The field path leads us gently downhill until we reach the main road (L728) after 700 m. We keep right, cross the road at a suitable place, and turn left into Nelkenweg after 100 m.
We follow the paved road for 500 m until the next large fork. Here we take the right fork and now always hike in zigzags slightly uphill until the asphalt turns into gravel. Here we keep left and after 100 m choose the right meadow path. After 300 m, we reach the forest and at the fork keep left. The path leads us deeper into the forest. After 400 m, we come to a wider farm road. We turn left and follow the slightly ascending path until we reach the top after 1 km. On the right, the landscape now opens, and we see a cattle pasture.
After a few meters, we reach a viewpoint with a reclining bench and picnic island. We follow the path to the main road and cross it. Here we take the right field path, which leads us deeper into the forest. After 600 m, we reach a larger farm road, which we follow to the right. After a few meters, we see a bench on the left. Here we turn right and walk directly toward a wooden signpost. We turn left and follow the path down through the forest. After 800 m, we reach a fork at the edge of the forest.
We take the left path and after a few meters see another resting place with a picnic island and reclining bench. We follow the paved road another 200 m and then take the farm road on the right. After 200 m, we reach the edge of the residential area. The path here becomes asphalt and leads us through housing down to the main road. We cross it and return to the starting point of the hike.
