Walk starting from the Bürgerhaus Müsen

This cosy walking route leads from the Merklinghäuser Weg car park back to the street. Left uphill to the left turn onto hiking trail 3, which runs through the valley along the Rothenbach to the edge of Müsen. Experience the fun at the Müsen outdoor natural pool and make a stop at the cosy Hüttenweiher pond.

At the end of the path, take a left onto Silberger Weg, which you follow back to the main road. At a hairpin bend, go around the Franz Holzindustrie company towards the edge of Müsen, then immediately turn into the farm road behind the left houses. Return through the streets "In der Molzekuhl" and Stahlbergstraße to the main road. Through Hermannstraße, you get back to Glückaufstraße, cross the Rothenbach again there, and then return to the Merklinghäuser Weg car park.

No special equipment is required for this walking route. The path is only partially suitable for strollers.

By car coming from Kreuztal or Hilchenbach, turn off onto Müsener Straße in Dahlbruch. After the church, turn onto Glück-auf-Straße, keep left, then turn right over the bridge. The Bürgerhaus Müsen and the car park are on the left.

Adequate free parking spaces (including 3 motorhome spaces) are available.

The bus line R11 runs between Hilchenbach and Kreuztal. Line R17 runs from Dahlbruch to Müsen.
