Walk to Hilchenbach settlement

We leave the market square through Gerbergasse, cross the street and go straight ahead and then left into Schützenstraße up to the "Backes". At the fork in the road, it goes briefly uphill past the sports field. Now we have reached the height and follow the path until we come to the district road located above the settlement. Caution is required when crossing the road. Now we follow a section of Brachthäuser Straße until it goes right up into the settlement. Whether you follow the street left or right does not matter. At the curve above the Settlers' Community House, the path goes back into the forest. First through the forest, we reach the fields An der Sang. A magnificent view of the wind turbines, Hilchenbach and the town centre invites you to rest. For the return to the starting point, we follow An der Sang street downhill, past the church to the market square.

No special equipment is required for the walk.
