Beim Dotzlarer Wehr führt dich wieder eine Brücke über die Eder. Du tauchst erneut in keltische Gefühlswelten ein: Etwa 100 Meter weiter ragt eine schrägliegende Felsbank ins Wasser. Scheinbar auf Felsgrund wächst ein majestätischer Eichenbaum-Veteran direkt am rauschenden Fluss. Die Eiche erfuhr bei den Kelten große Wertschätzung. Ein Alter von 300 Jahren war keine Seltenheit, d. h. er überlebte eine menschliche Existenz bei weitem. Eine Schmarotzerpflanze der Eiche, die Mistel, war den Kelten heilig.
In der Nähe steht eine ungewöhnlich mächtige Erle.
