Bison Experience Exhibition

Museum/Exhibition
You will learn interesting facts about the bison - also known as the "King of the Forests" - in the bison experience exhibition.
How fast can a bison run? Is it true that bulls can weigh up to a ton? Do these animals actually doze most of the day?

Interactively and above all with a high fun factor, the exhibition conveys interesting knowledge about these huge animals : Taking part, touching and gaining knowledge. Follow the "Path of the Bisons" from the first cave drawings in the Stone Age to the reintroduction of the animals in Bad Berleburg. Everything worth knowing about the development and habitat of the bison is explained in a vivid way.

A film room, which offers space for school classes and larger groups, shows the bison in its natural environment and provides exciting facts.

The bison experience exhibition is part of the "on the Trace of Nature" exhibition of the Nature Park Information Centre.
