Directions

We leave the market square via Dammstraße and ride through Hadem, Helberhausen, and Oberndorf up to the Oberndorfer Höhe. This demanding climb is tough. Enjoy the well-deserved first break with the most beautiful view at Oberndorfer Höhe (photo), or on Sundays and holidays stop by Helmut's Rothaarhütte. Now it goes downhill to Heinsberg. The charming village offers additional places to rest. Via Albaum, follow the road to Würdinghausen. At the roundabout, turn left towards Kirchhundem. The wonderful church in Kirchhundem invites you to a contemplative pause. Turn left and then follow the villages Flape and Wirme, continuously ascending up to Brachthausen. To avoid riding back to Hilchenbach on the country road, turn left in Brachthausen and ride past the former inn "Zum Hasenbahnhof" to the wind turbines above Hilchenbach. Once you reach the connecting road, follow the road downhill to the right back to Hilchenbach and return to the starting point.
