The circular route starts at the marketplace in Hilchenbach. It leads via quiet streets and bike paths first to Vormwald and the customs post. Here the highest point of the bike route is reached. Now it goes downhill to Grund. Stop in Grund and take a look at the gold-awarded village in the competition "Our Village has a Future" at leisure. Along the small river Insbach, it goes along the forest edge to Allenbach and via bike paths back to Hilchenbach.

Directions
We leave Hilchenbach marketplace via Dammstraße to the Hilchenbach roundabout. There we turn along the shopping center into Sterzenbacher Straße and follow it further to Vormwald. The signed bike path leads us to the customs post. Now we have reached the highest point of our route. We turn right to the village of Grund. Following the bike path signs again, the path leads through the village until we cross the district road and ride back a few meters towards Grund to then turn left. Past the Kneipp water-treading basin, it goes to Allenbach. There we keep right and ride along the railway tracks back to Hilchenbach. The bike path to the marketplace is signposted.
