Local hiking trails Puderbach - P1 Forester's House Litzelbach Puderbach Valley and Kirschköpfchen

The route starts idyllically along the "Puderbach" and later over a meadow path towards Bad Laasphe. At the first large crossroads, turn right to cross the L903 country road. On the road, go a short distance left and then immediately right slightly uphill. Between two pastures, we turn right again and walk towards the Forester's House Litzelbach. The old forester's house is still inhabited by the forester today and lies idyllically on the edge of the forest, surrounded by old fruit trees, many animals, and regional products such as honey and game, which can be purchased here on request. From here, the forest path initially goes steadily uphill; on the right, we pass an old pond (particularly worth seeing during the water lily bloom), which, however, belongs to the forester's property. Once the first climb is done, the path forks, and we keep right continuing slightly uphill. At the end of the path, another fork is reached, and we turn left uphill. After a short time, the Myth and Legend path meets our path and runs for a while parallel through beautiful beech forest. At the foot of a meadow, we reach a seating area inviting to rest and a picnic now that the ascent is done. Here the Myth and Legend path leaves us heading west; we continue straight on the P/P1 and skirt around the Hainrot. At the next fork keep left (against the signage); after a short time, there is a not so easily recognizable track leading gently uphill. Following this leads after a short time to a plateau providing a fantastic panoramic view over the entire surrounding mountain landscape.

The return is via the same path, and also the access path must be retraced a short way to the last crossroads to follow the P1/P again. These lead briefly northward before first sharply turning left and shortly afterwards right, meeting a large crossroads above the Kirschköpfchen.

Those who want can continue on the P2/P here and experience the only summit cross in the Wittgenstein mountain range on the Puderburg.

The P1 leads steadily downhill from here back to Puderbach, initially still through forest, later through the meadow and pasture land of the Kirschwiesental.

After a short path through the village, the starting point at the club house is reached again.

We recommend sturdy footwear and sufficient drinks as well as a small picnic.

Detour via a harvester path to the Hainrot - once at the top, you have a fantastic view!
