The route starts with a wonderful view of Bad Berleburg before you enter the forest. You pass the Lützelbach, where beech and spruce forests alternate. Beautiful panoramic views appear again and again. Various ferns and mosses, foxgloves and fireweed accompany you along the way. The sun rays make the forest appear mystical. On the way back, you walk through the nature reserve “Oberes Steinbachtal” and the fauna-flora habitat area “Borstgrasrasen am oberen Steinbach.” An idyllic spot to linger.
