Directions

The path begins in the city center at the Haus des Gastes and initially leads over the Wilhelmsplatz behind the building, where the first station "The Hop Garden" awaits. However, you should not miss taking a small tour through the lovingly and unusually well-equipped herb garden here before setting off to discover the Laasphe beer brewing culture. The continuously asphalted or paved path first leads through the spa park and then runs back down towards the city.

How was beer brewed in the past?

Which locations and conditions were used for brewing in the Lahn city?

These and many other interesting questions are answered along the way. The interested visitor is introduced to the topic of "brewing beer" not only with texts but also many helpful images. At some stations, brewing utensils can even be felt and touched directly, such as at the hop or barley locations.

All explanatory texts are also available in Dutch and English on every sign.

The circular route is furthermore paved throughout and barrier-free.
