Directions
The route description begins clockwise at the mentioned parking area below the Niederndorf equestrian facility.
The first stretch uphill leads past the meadows below the Niederndorf equestrian facility. Before heading downhill again, you can take a short detour about one hundred and fifty meters to the left to the Niederndorf monument. From here you have an excellent view of Niederndorf. Then it goes downhill into the center of Niederndorf. Here you will find the old school, the Backes bakery oven, the community house of Niederndorf, and the listed "Boos Hus". Past the Niederndorf bus stop, you could get provisions at Klaas Bakery.
Next, it goes around the roundabout toward the nature reserve (NSG) Süselberg. Here the path goes relatively steeply uphill. A bench invites you to take a short break and look back toward Niederndorf. Then it continues past meadows and through forest to the Dirlenbach football field. The path passes the football field on the right and descends to the road that runs from Niederndorf via Dirlenbach to Asdorf. Follow the road to the left until you reach the exit of Dirlenbach.
Now the path goes uphill through the NSG Rödersche. Here you will find a rest area built by the Dirlenbach local heritage association at the old border beech, offering a very nice view of the NSG Rödersche and the Giebelwald. The F6 then leads over the ridge to the Kuhlenberg. In doing so, it crosses the SGV main hiking trail X19 Schlösserweg (Dillenburg to Düsseldorf), which here comes from Oberfischbach on the right and leads downhill to Freudenberg on the left.
After one and a half kilometers the Heuslingen football field is reached. Those who wish can follow the F10 to Oberheuslingen here. The F6 then leads first over meadows, then through forest to the Vollmersbach spring, which offers a rest area. About one hundred meters the wide path downhill towards Niederndorf is marked with a sign pointing to the spring. Now it goes over the Oberfischbach football field – another rest area – downhill past the Pilgrim's refrigerated box, monument, church, and old half-timbered houses to/through Oberfischbach. The old parsonage lies behind the roundabout. A steep ascent past the primary school and kindergarten Oberfischbach leads back to the parking area.
