A path for the whole family - it connects playgrounds and sights in Erndtebrück.
The individual stations are filled with smart information and great games.

The family apple trail is an approximately 6-kilometer circular route for the whole family. It combines the local Erndtebrück playgrounds at 9 stations with useful and exciting knowledge about apples.
The route can be walked in stages or all at once or used with a bike, balance bike, wheelchair, or stroller. At each station, there is an apple tree with a name tag, a detailed map with an exciting quiz, seating options, and various play equipment.
The logo of the apple insect accompanies visitors throughout the entire route and from station to station.

Directions

From the starting point at the Erndtebrück P+R parking lot, the route first goes uphill on the right side of Hachebergstraße to the first playground on the grounds of the former Rothaarsteig School. Passing the Erndtebrück indoor swimming pool on Mozartstraße, the route leads to Grimbachstraße, past the BMW Museum. From Grimbachstraße, it continues right onto Altenschlagerweg, where you stop at the second playground near the local secondary school. Following Altenschlagerweg, the path continues to the turn into Kampenstraße (Kampenstraße playground), which leads through the residential area to the steep slope on the left, then turns left onto Ederfeldstraße. Just before the end of this street on the right is the Rose Garden, which leads through the former cemetery to Siegener Straße. This street is crossed, and the route continues toward the town exit until it goes down to Jahnstraße on the left. After a slight descent, it goes uphill again until it crosses Pulverwaldstraße, which is taken to the left. The next right turn leads straight onto Schulstraße, from which you turn left towards the primary school. Here is another playground (primary school). At the end of the street, Bergstraße is crossed, and the path continues through Backeseck to Struthstraße. Struthstraße leads twice right into Keitestraße, which in turn turns sharply right onto Wabrichtstraße. The route goes uphill a bit toward the town exit until the turn Zur Zwier sharply to the left, where you enter the residential area. On the left is the Käthe Kollwitz Playground. Continuing left toward Höhenweg. The next opportunity is right again, past the crossing Birkenweg (Birkenweg playground), until you reach Breidenbach, which is then followed left. Upon reaching Marburger Straße (B62), it continues immediately to Ederauenpark, inviting you to linger. The path then leads over a bridge at the Eder, right next to the park entrance through the shopping street. Continue straight until Mühlenweg crosses. Then turn left here, passing Edermühle / Mühle Acht, the bookcase, until you reach B62 and approach the roundabout on the left. Take the first exit here. After the railway crossing, the start and end point P+R parking lot is on the right.
